2004

A 19-year-old student from Yerevan State Linguistic University after Valeri Brusov, Anush Grigorian, was awarded with the title of the "Queen of Tourism-2004" in a beauty contest in China. The contest was held on October 29. There were 32 participants all over the world. Jury took into consideration not only the appearance of the girls but also their communicative skills and how well they presented tourism of their countries. In presenting Armenia to the jury Anush Grigorian emphasized the historic fact of adoption of Christianity as a state religion in 301 and presented small khachkars (cross-stones) to all participants.

Armenian beauty was awarded $10.000 as a winner.
