Armenian Diaspora. Syria
According to Turkish press Armenians from Syria became the first piligrims to visit Van after Turkish authorities eventually erected Cross on the dome of the Surb Khach (Holy Cross) church in occupied Western Armenia, on Akhtamar island.
Nowdays total population of Armenians in Syria is 100.000. Most Armenians in Syria are Apostolic, with some being Catholic and adherents of Evangelical church.
And this is how Syrian Armenian ancestors ended up in Syria after the Genocide,

It also should be noted that Armenians have existed in the Middle East even before 6 th century.

Зато дети- какие лапочки, автор озаглавил первую фотку как » меня никто не понимает» ;-)
А фото Еревана какая прелесть, мне все нравится у этого фотографа из Еревана: и армяночки, и наши дети, и свадебные фотки, все, все, все ;-)))
