«I really feel like Armenian here,”  said Gérard Depardieu .

Recently  journalists of BBC were wondering if there is  anything special in Armenian water so it helps Armenia to «produce» so many chess geniuses making Armenian nation «cleverest nation on earth». And I am  wondering if there is  something special in Armenian air which makes  many great people of various ethnicity to confess they  feel «Armenian» in Armenia.  Do they keep that feeling when they leave Armenia? Some of them keep coming back! ;-) Beloved hero of our childhood movies  Depardieu have grown old, picked up weight I got a feeling he is out of breath at times but he is still the same if you know what I mean…How can the dream grow old?

Great actor and winemaker mentioned he might make a movie on some parts of Armenian History. Talking to Hovik Abrahamyan he added he is planning to visit Armenia again, this time with European Art  workers to organise International Festive. And also cultural program in Armenia with the help of French Armenians to present Armenian Art…

He paid tribute to Genocide victims in Tzitzernakaberd, met up with the President Serge  Sargsyan ( or should I say Sarkissian? ;-)) It seems they are really enjoying their conversation. President  said Armenians are the most emotional nation whose identity is based on their culture…Very true indeed. In his turn Gérard Depardieu praised a lot Armenian Diaspora of France for their contribution and entioned he came to Armenia to participate in cultural event, festival called «Karot» because of his respect and war feelings towards such outstanding representatives of French Armenian community as Henri Verneuil (Ashod Malakian), Jean Jansem and Charles Aznavour. Hmm, it seems he is not aware of one of y best friends in Paris- Lena! ;-) OK, enough of rambling, photo time!
