In my previous post I was telling about a prominent Armenian academician, philologist, linguist, and lexicographer from Akhaltskha which is now in Georgia. I think this video would make him very proud. ;-)
Things are getting more and more difficult for our compatriots in Javakhk and keeping an Armenian identity is a big struggle.
But videos like us give us hope! ;-)

British historian Tim Greenwood claims that he has found at least three Armenian medieval Silver Crosses, although scientists believed that the Armenian silver crosses of that period did not survive.
Lecturer at the University of St. Andrews, historian Tim Greenwood delivered a lecture on his discoveries in the London University of Oriental Studies, and for the first time first presented to the public photos of these crosses.
The existence of crosses historian found accidentally, it all started with emails.

Two good news came one after another, our little boy from Stepanakert (Artsakh) Vladimir Arzumanyan representing Armenia won yesterday Junior Eurovision and our famous Levon Aronyan won Blitz chess world championship…Will be great to host Eurovision for kids in Yerevan, Armenia or like Kornelij suggested in capital city of Artsakh (|Nagorno Karabakh) where the winner is from! ;-))
Congratulations to all Armenians and our friends! ;-))
I highly doubt you would want to watch video with Aronyan’s chess matches but I hope you enjoy Vladimir’s song. He has a beautiful voice and is a very confident artist on a stage, he gave really a great perfomance ;-)
Elizabeth Gilbert, the authour of bestseller «Eat Pray Love» met a Brasilian woman named «Armenia» in Bali and described her like this: «gorgeous, elegantly dressed, charismatic and engaging and indeterminate in age, just insistently sexy».
A survivour of Armenian Genocide named his daughter after his lost Motherland «Armenia»… Sad, beautiful and toutchy…

Those of you who follow this blog remember that some time ago I wrote about Armenian origin of Basques hypothesis. Today I have been reading on Agentinian Armenians when I came across this part…
«The Armenians in Argentina are ethnic Armenians who live in Argentina. In South America the largest population of Armenians is in Argentina where some 130,000 Armenians live . The core of the population came from Cilicia, Syria and Lebanon. In Buenos Aires, the Armenian community is known to share their common culture with the Basque community through musical events and cultural activities».
