This beautiful photo reminded me of something. Did you know that the production of decorative ceramic tiles and pottery in Jerusalem/Palestine was established by an Armenian family Balian? This reminds me of two things: Balian family from Western Armenia (Ottoman Empire),several generations of who literally built Constantinople. and an Armenian photographer Garabed Krikorian who was again the first one to establish photography in Jerusalem/Palestine.

Something which increases in Armenian on daily bases. Everyone wants to have professional photos. They say it has become popular to put up professional pics on Russian version of FaceBook «Odnoklassniki» ;-)) All girls want to try different images and they need a good photographer to «see them through» ;-)
I have got a new, lovely French friend JM. His PMs are very informative, educational, full of subtle sarcasm, jokes and love for humanity and his country…He also likes our Armenian girls and teaches me some beautiful French words… ;-)
For example I found out that the word «gorgeous» is most likely to have French roots. French word «gorge» means «throat» but previously it was used as women «breasts». King Louis XV, who was famous for his obssession with women once asked his son:» as-t’elle de la gorge»,
which meant «Has she got some breasts», implying that men who don’t care about that are ignorant…
